Fully knotted on blue silk, this is a restored set of vintage blue swirl glass beads.  

 

The blue vintage beads have been made in two blue shades and swirled together, when in the molten state, to form smooth, round shaped beads; they date from the 1940’s or possibly earlier.  

 

The necklace length is 44cms (17.5 inches).  The clasp is the original brass clip and barrel.  

 

A beautiful colour and excellent example of the period.
