Mixed Pink Edisons

ED441S90SET

Fully knotted on silk, this is a set of mixed pink round, cultured freshwater Edison pearls, with exceptional gold overtones.

Named Edison in the West, after the inventor of the lighthouse light, because they are so shiny, with natural golden overtones!  In the East they are known as ‘Starburst’ pearls.

These freshwater pearls originate from China, where the oysters are nucleated using the same method as South Sea pearls.  The pink shade is natural and one of the rarest colours of pearl.  Only freshwater creatures can produce the pink range of colours naturally.

This necklace is also beautifully balanced for colours and the 37 pearls measure from 10mms to 13mms.  The necklace measures 47cms (18.5 inches).

The ball and bullet rocker clasp is 925 silver gilt.  It opens by pressing the button on the ball, to reveal an opening into which you push the silver gilt bullet.  It is very secure.

The necklace is sold with a matching pair of 10mm drop Edison pearls on silver gilt ball and post findings with butterfly backs for pierced ears.
