Fully knotted on silk, this is a set of pale peach pink baroque coin, cultured freshwater pearls.
Baroque means ‘not round’. The necklace consists of approx. 8-10mm peach pink coin pearls alternating with tiny Miyuki gold galvanised spacer beads to add a golden sparkle!
The pearls have a good lustre (the surface shine). The surface unevenness is part of the nacre production and the pearls’ natural beauty. These freshwater pearls originate from China, and the peach shades are natural and belong in the pink colour category; rose pink is one of the rarest colours of pearl. Only freshwater creatures can produce the pink range of colours naturally.
The necklace length is 43cms (17 inches) and has 35 pearls. The ring bolt clasp is 925 silver gilt, with rose gold. It opens by pulling back the trigger, to reveal an opening into which you hook the silver ring, before releasing the trigger. It is very secure.
The necklace is sold with a matching pair of pearl drop earrings, on gold-plated hook-backs, for pierced ears.
