White Freshwater Baroque Coin Pearls and

Blue Banded Agate Beads

PP371AS25SET

Fully knotted on silk, this is a string of white freshwater baroque coin pearls and blue banded agate beads, with cut glass spacers.

These freshwater pearls originate from China and measure 12-15mm, varying a little due to their unusual shape.  These are referred to as coin pearls because they are nucleated with a coin-shaped bead but when they are being coated, the freshwater oysters do not necessarily coat them evenly, hence the unusual shapes and surface unevenness; this makes each pearl unique.

They are strung alternating with round 12mm blue banded agate beads, and small cut glass spacers.  The necklace length is 43cms (17 inches) and has 12 white coin pearls and 13 blue banded agate beads.

The ring bolt clasp is 925 silver.  It opens by pulling back the trigger, to reveal an opening into which you hook the ring, before releasing the trigger.  It is very secure.

The necklace is sold with a matching pair of pearl & agate drop earrings, on silver-plated hook backs, for pierced ears.
