Fully knotted on silk, this is a set of petal pink baroque coin, cultured freshwater pearls.
They have a soft gold overtone and excellent lustre (the surface shine). These unusual freshwater pearls originate from China and the petal pink shades are natural.
This necklace is a striking string of baroque (irregular shaped) coin pearls, so-called because they are nucleated with flat coin-shaped beads, alternating with matching small teardrop pearls.
The coin pearls measure 15-25mm. The necklace length is 51cms (20 inches) and has 29 pearls.
The clasp is a 925 silver double loop toggle, which allows for an additional 1.5cms on the length, when in the extended position. It is secure and easy to use.
The necklace is sold with a matching pair of large baroque pearl drop earrings, on silver hook-backs, for pierced ears.
