Fully knotted on silk, this is a string of black lacquered mother-of-pearl disks and fuchsia pink dyed banded agate beads.
Mother-of-pearl is the shell of pearl-bearing molluscs carved, or cut into shapes and beads for decoration and jewellery.
These disk beads are 12mm wide. They are knotted on silk, alternating with round 12mm faceted banded agate beads, dyed bright fuchsia pink. This necklace is a bright contrast of the black disks and the shocking pink agates. The necklace length is 47cms (18.5 inches).
The ring bolt clasp is stamped 925 silver. It opens by pulling back the trigger, to reveal an opening into which you hook the silver ring, before releasing the trigger. It is very secure.
The necklace is sold with a matching pair of drop earrings, on silver-plated hook-backs, for pierced ears.
