Peach Pink Freshwater Baroque Coin Pearls and Dyed Faceted Agate Beads

PP338S38SET

Fully knotted on silk, this is a string of peach pink freshwater baroque coin pearls and moss green dyed agate beads, with emerald-green cut glass spacers.

These freshwater pearls originate from China and measure 12-15mm, varying a little due to their unusual shape.  These are referred to as coin pearls because they are nucleated with a coin-shaped bead but when they are being coated, the freshwater oysters do not necessarily coat them evenly, hence the unusual shapes and surface unevenness; this makes each pearl unique.

They are strung alternating with oval 15mm faceted agate beads, dyed a mixture of moss greens, and small emerald-green cut glass spacer beads.  This necklace is a bright contrast of the creamy lustrous pearls and the softly mottled agates.

The necklace length is 63cms (25 inches) and has 16 coin pearls and 17 agate beads.

The ring bolt clasp is stamped 925 silver.  It opens by pulling back the trigger, to reveal an opening into which you hook the silver ring, before releasing the trigger.  It is very secure.

The necklace is sold with a matching pair of drop earrings, on silver-plated hook-backs, for pierced ears.
