White Off-Round Freshwater Pearls

Fully knotted on silk, this is a classic set of white off-round, cultured freshwater pearls.
They have a silver overtone and good lustre (the surface shine). These freshwater pearls originate from China, and measure from 5/7mm. The necklace length is 48cms (19 inches) and has 70 pearls.
The round silver ball clasp is magnetic, with the two halves of the magnet secured behind the silver case, so they do not pull out, as this is a very secure fastening. The silver is stamped on the inside of the ball halves with the 925-silver mark.
It opens by sliding the two halves of the ball apart. DO NOT pull on the necklace pearls to open the magnet, or you may break the string. The two halves of the magnet will ‘find each other’ when fastening behind your neck. It is very easy, if you have problems managing small clasps yourself.
NB: If you have a heart pacemaker fitted, you must not wear magnetic clasps.
