Fully knotted on silk, this is a contemporary set of good quality black, round freshwater cultured pearls.
They have blue overtones and an excellent lustre (the surface shine) and deep colours. These freshwater pearls originate from China and come from freshwater mussels.
The black pearls measure 8mm and alternate with black glass spacers. The necklace length is 47cms (18.5 inches) and has 37 pearls.
The press button ball clasp is stamped 925 silver. To open, press the button on the silver ball and release the bullet. Reverse the process to close with a click.
The necklace is sold with a matching pair of black pearl drop earrings, on silver-plated hook backs, for pierced ears.
