White Freshwater Pearls and Faceted Amethyst Beads

Fully knotted on silk, this is a set of off-round white, freshwater, cultured pearls alternating with round faceted amethyst beads.
The pearls have a strong silver overtone and a particularly good lustre (the surface shine). These pearls originate from China. The amethyst beads are round in shape but faceted to catch the light.
The pearls and beads measure 7-8mms. The necklace length is 43cms (17 inches) and has 44 alternating beads and pearls.
The ball and bar clasp is 925 silver gilt.
The necklace is sold with a matching pair of amethyst bead and pearl drop earrings, on gold-plated hook-backs, for pierced ears.
