Vintage Pastel Dinted Glass Beads and White Baroque Freshwater Pearls

The pearls are classed as baroque as they are uneven in shape and they originate from China.

The vintage glass has been moulded in pastel shades to form smooth, dinted oval shaped beads, some with a pearlized surface varnish; they date from the 1950’s or possibly earlier.

The white baroque pearls alternate with the beads to add a different shine and texture.  This set consists of a necklace, bracelet, and matching drop earrings.

The pearls measure approximately 8-10mm and the beads are mostly 10mm, with some larger 15mm beads towards the front. The necklace length is 71cms (28 inches) and has 53 alternating beads and pearls.

The ring bolt clasp is 925 silver.  It opens by pulling back the trigger, to reveal an opening into which you hook the silver ring, before releasing the trigger.  It is very secure.

The bracelet measures 21cms (just over 8 inches) and has 17 pearls and beads.  It closes with a silver lobster trigger clasp and 4cm (1.5 inch) extension chain.

The set is sold with a pair of drop earrings with matching beads and pearls, on silver-plated hook backs, for pierced ears.
